Additional Notes Used on BR 'Ocean Liner Express' service. P 1983 by VSOE and had pseudo-Pullman livery applied for use as a spare vehicle. Restored 1994 in BR(S) green livery for use on their reintroduced 'Ocean Liner Eexpress' (based at Clapham Junction, stored off-season at Stewarts Lane). 1998: used on 'Regency Rail' service (in blue and cram livery), based at Crewe South Shed until 2000. Then Riviera Trains 'Royal Scot' service in BR crimson lake and cream livery. 06/11: still in BR crimson lake and cream livery for 'Royal Scot' service - see additional photo below. B4 bogies. In store at Old Oak Common until its closure - probably then to Eastleigh. By 01/17: at Williton, West Somerset Railway, for restoration (now privately owned). 10/17: bogies are to be swapped with BR 34500 (qv). By 03/18: moved from West Somerset Railway to Cranmore Train Services at East Somerset Railway. 03/19: to Bluebell Railway - now in BR(W) chocolate and cream livery and known as 'Sapphire' - went into service 11/19, running with the Pullman stock. 08/20: transferred to the 'Wealden Rambler' set and running in that formation as part of the Bluebell Railway's 60th Anniversary celebrations.
