Additional Notes Originally a Third, it was re-worked as a works unit using much galvo sheet: compartments removed and the door configuration changed. Carriage number 2931 - has GWR Bristol chalked on back of one of galvo sheets. Appears to be 8-compartment and was cut in half in order to transport it to its previous location by early 1980s - located next to car repair yard and The Mill House at Great Haseley, Oxfordshire. In poor physical condition, several doors and other parts/sections salvaged and transported to a location in Wallingford for eventual re-assembly as a garden building. By 9/23 only the underframe remains.
