Additional Notes Designed by Stroudley in the early 1880’s, this was subsequently altered to a Brake First by turning one compartment into a Guard/Luggage compartment (but, since it has been reduced in length, it is not possible to say whether it was a 2 or a 3 compartment Brake First). A few of these conversions were also made into slip coaches and this may have been one of them. Located in a field at Horsehill Farm, Stoke Abbott, Dorset. 07/20: confirmed still in situ.
