Additional Notes P 1976, on Mid-Hants till 1989. C.1984 fitted with generator set in the luggage space for use as brake vehicle on the Watercress Belle Dining Train; also first two Second compartments were combined by removing partition to make a larger staff mess area (this arrangement still in situ). Stored OOU Winchcombe. Reported 11/05 as having been sold for full restoration and to leave within a few weeks: at Long Marston Exchange Sidings by 12/05. 06/08 External repaint ongoing. By 05/14 to Bitton on the Avon Valley Railway for a 4-year loan. 09/01/2018: moved to Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for an initial one year loan: initially it was to have a repaint from BR Maroon to BR(W) Chocolate and Cream livery before being added to the third rake to provide additional capacity for the opening of the line to Broadway, but the refurbishment work needed was revealed to be more extensive. 03/19: overhaul finished and into operational use 05/19.
