Additional Notes 29ft 6in First No. 522; converted pre-1909 to Composite Brake No. 168; then to Fruit Brake No. 4708, running in Set No. J62 (Fruit Vans); renumbered OV 103 and then SR 014. Withdrawn September 1929. Now grounded body encased in corrugated iron. Remains of Pintsch’s gas lamp fittings found inside. Believed not moved onto site at Bovington, Dorset until 1940s - possibly after use in internal troop trains because location is beside track bed leading from Wool to Bovington Camp. By 12/22: sold to a local carpenter, reportedly to turn it into accommodation.
