Additional Notes 750v DC. Delivered to LT 06/1940; withdrawn from LT 1987. Converted for use on Island Line (Isle of Wight) and delivered there in 1990. With 10297 (qv) formed Class 483 006 unit as 'D' End DM. Withdrawn from Island Line 03/01/2021. 04/21: aquired for use as part of a project to run this unit with 483 008 (10255 and 11255 qv) on Epping Ongar Railway, powered by 630v DC internal batteries to be fitted to car 11255; will be used as locomotive hauled stock whilst that conversion work takes place. 10/21: moved to Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway, Cynheidrie for foreseeable future.
