Additional Notes W 1960, then BR(S) Holiday Coach, later in dptl use. P W H McAlpine; Market Overton: then to Resco, but at Steamtown till resold 88: restaurant with Pullmans 43 and 102, also BR Mk 1 4328. Corridor connections, vents missing: bar added one end, seating/tables replaced. The by then derelict property purchased by Sunderland City Council 08/12 and advertised by them as to let. Hotel reopened as "Pullman Hotel, Bar and Restaurant" in 2013 after major refurbishment, this including the three Pullmans. 11/16: Sunderland City Council, owners of the freehold of the site, advise that the whole complex site is now closed and will be redeveloped in early 2017. 03/17: the three Pullmans moved Barrow Hill for assessment and then restoration work before being moved to a permanent location at Folkestone as part of the Harbour Station / Seafront redevelopment. 06/06/2017: moved to East Kent Railway, arriving today. By 03/18: sheeted (see additional photo below).
