Additional Notes Car J. On u/frame ex 1918 LNWR Ambulance coach. Remodelled 1937; rebuilt as Pullman Observation Car (POC) 1947; to BR(M) 1957. P 1968. Interior modified in 1969 to represent an English Pub before to USA with Flying Scotsman tour 1969: later Board Room etc in San Francisco. Repatriated, then restored by Rampart Engineering Jan/Feb 07 - 05/08. Seating is reproduction, with moquette to original pattern. Toilets are original. By 05/21: moved from Swanage Railway to Locomotive Storage Ltd site at Westwood, Margate (part of Hornby works, being planned for a future public railway heritage attraction to be called the One:One Collection). By 07/22: moved from Margate to Swanage Railway.
