Additional Notes BR conversion in 1969 from Restaurant First (RF) to Restaurant Buffet Kitchen (RBK : Dgm 26) of 2 bays to bar area - for use on Midland Main Line services. W 1981, P 1983, to MRT 1985. Used through the 90s as kitchen staff car in 'The Midlander'. Lighting altered - but very unusual lights in luggage rack supports survive. By 08/06 OOU at Swanwick. Sold 07/16. 11/16: moved to Wirksworth. 02/21: plan is to restore carriage back to RF configuration.
