Additional Notes 03/1876. Withdrawn 30/6/1912. P 1997. Originally close-coupled. Same batch as 278 (qv). Was used as buffet until 7/05 when contracted-out restoration began. By 08/09 fully operational on tube wagon underframe. Refurbished as a composite, featuring 1st and 3rd class internal finish. Note: MSLR identify this body as No. 278 and that noted in this Database as No. 278 as 287 - i.e. identities of these two identical bodies may be reversed. Further information on this would be welcomed. Now carries identity as 'MSLR No. 13'.
