Additional Notes 650 v 3 rail Class 503 EMU. P 1991 Wirral Borough Council: stored BR Kirkdale till sold 1996 to Mersey & Tyneside Elec Pres (MATEP): to Steamport 9/96, then to Coventry 1999. Largely intact internally. Some corrosion problems loom. Displayed with 29289 and 28690 (qv) - owned by Heritage Electric Trains Trust. 30/05/2018: following closure of Electric Railway Museum at Coventry, now located at Locomotive Storage Ltd site at Westwood, Margate (part of Hornby works, being planned for a future public railway heritage attraction to be called the One:One Collection).
