Additional Notes Mk 2b. B4 bogies. Latterly used by Railway Technical Centre Derby as brake force runner. P 1993, at Stone Lodge, Dartford until 1996, then to Spa Valley. 2002: sold to Wessex Trains and moved to Lancastrian Carriage & Wagon at Heysham Business Park, Middleton, near Heysham - intended for 'Excalibur Express but instead re-sold to RPSI by 09/03 and overhauled at Heysham for them as part of their Mk 2 Project. Re-bogied (B4 type bogies) and renumbered RPSI 181. Certified for main line use.
