Additional Notes To IoW 06/33. W 05/48, grounded at Ash Hill Farm, Atherfield 1949, henhouse/store. P 06/75: moved to Havenstreet - first body rescued by Wight Locomotive Society. Similar body (1189, qv) P late 2001. Note that LBSCR 1200 (qv) allocated 4115 but then W: these two bodies side by side at Griffen's sidings field. Underframe of SR GUV 4589 (qv) has been prepared to carry this body but is temporarily (06/16} being used to carry SECR 1133 (qv). 07/20: this body has been moved onto accommodation underframe LSWR 752 (qv) to enable restoration work to begin. 04/21: long-term restoration now in progress - life-expired tin plating removed; some of wooden frame found to be in remarkably good condition but many of the timbers, particular the longitudinal beams around the base, are rotten and in need of replacement. 11/22: main wooden frame, floor and internal partitions nearly complete - body almost rigid enough to lift onto its donor underframe.
