Additional Notes Ashford/Eastleigh. 750v 3-rail Class 416/2 (2-EPB) EMU, ex Unit 5791. Built for NER South Tyneside service and as such has larger Brake Van than similar Southern units. P 1996 by MATEP. With 77112 (qv) formed Unit 930 053; later Sandite train - this vehicle stripped internally. At Robertsbridge till to Electric Railway Museum, Coventry 10/99. Underframe electrics largely complete. 10/17: planned move reported to Battlefield Line following closure of the Electric Railway Museum. 08/05/2018: moved to Battlefield Line, where the bodywork restoration work already undertaken will be continued to prepare the Unit for passenger service.
