Additional Notes Built SR to LSWR design. W 1947, then Mess & Tool van. P 1980: store for Vintage Carriages Group at Alresford during (20 year!) restoration. Wood framework now sound: roof to re-cover. Interior stripped. Corridor connectors (removed by BR) to replace. 04/10 into new carriage shed at Ropley for continuing restoration - but now under cover! Major fire 07/10 destroyed the new carriage shed and with it the bodywork of this coach. All remains scrapped by 10/10.
