Additional Notes Built on chassis from earlier MR 6-wheel Third carriage - now identified as MR 1753. From Rutland to Swindon & Cricklade by 12/07. Two buffer turrets have been changed in opposite corners by British Steel. 06/08: body dismantled (was very rotten) and chassis - reverted to its original number, MR 1753 (qv) - was moved to Midsomer Norton and now East Somerset Railway where it is being used for restoration of MR 255 (qv).
