Additional Notes | May be Met C&W. W 1909: sold 1920 for use as store on farm nr Axminster. P 1992; to present owners 1999. Rebuilding is planned. "Seats 5" visible on most of partition walls above seats - much survives! From "Mid Devon" to Newton Abbot by 06/06. Severely damaged by falling tree ca. 2007. The surviving half has been tarpaulin covered and is used as s store. End section and seat of the destroyed part has been set up in the garden as a gazebo telling something of its history. 03/23: a further attempt to establish the continued existence of this body in the Newton Abbot / Ashburton area has again failed. Any information on its existence and/or location would be welcomed. |
