Additional Notes Was in Bournemouth set 296. W as Departmental vehicle after minor damage. P 1988, by Port Line Project. Intended to go to Swindon for restoration - but never happened. To Southern Steam Trust 1992: poor condition; much missing from underframe; no roof covering. Sheeted from 2003 - restoration estimated at £100,000. By 04/17: now used as a workshop, often coupled to whichever carriage is being worked on - seen in that use in main photo above.
