These gradually became permanent homes, especially in the 1930s, and were extended by various additions. Around 70 carriage bodies survive and are believed to be from a range of former railway ompanies, including LBSCR, SER, SECR, LSWR, GWR, Midland, North London, Pullman and LNWR. Bungalows range from "at risk" to renovated and on market at £400,000. Some of them have their own records on this Survey (qv).
