Additional Notes 1 of 9 DMUs to Winfrith 2004 by Dorset CC/Swanage in advance of running to Wareham. However, need for site clearance resulted in all going on loan to Butterley or to Weardale. This one to MRC 3/07 where contract-restored. Back to Swanage by 01/11. By 08/18: at Eastleigh Works for conversion to mainline running for Swanage Railway, involving: heavy repair (delayed due to corrosion found on u/f's); new engines and bogies; central door locking fitted to some doors with remaining ones locked out of use/sealed. Returned to Swanage for operation Feb 2020.
