All 5 have survived: this one as a store shed at Netherton of Logie, nr Crimond, Aberdeenshire (built to a different detail design later than the others for the North Breakwater phase of the works); one in the garden of a private residence at Inveran, Castle Road, Maud (qv); one formerly at the prison but now restored at Maud Railway Museum (qv); and two further grounded bodies at Keyhead (qv). The fate of two other vehicles - an officers' inspection saloon (nicely varnished) and a prison guards' van (similar to the prisoners' vans but with larger windows short cabin and end verandas - is unknown.
