Additional Notes | ?July 1899 - in first batch of 184 built. W 03/29 from Chingford/Enfield services when Quint Arts introduced; then "Singing Kettle" café at Acle. Was fitted with cruciform close coupling: still on original steel or iron underframe. P North Norfolk Railway 197?. Located initially at Norwich Victoria (restoration base) before relocation to Sheringham, west of Bridge 305, used as a carpenter's workshop. Moved to Weybourne 19?? and reused as a Carriage & Wagon department store. Space required for engineering department expansion, so condition was assessed and found to be very poor, subsequently dismantled 10/13 - 12/13. Parts used in the restoration of GER 853 (qv). |
