Additional Notes First/Second 6-wheel Semi-Corridor Lavatory Composite with separate luggage compartment. Built 1894, W and then G 1934 as holiday accommodation in Hayle, Cornwall. Abandoned ca. 2000: significant rot set in. P Summer 2009 and now under active restoration by Swindon & Cricklade Railway Vintage Train Project. By 08/12 main floor timbers and all flooring replaced, all partitions replaced, internal corridor wall frames built and external cladding begun. By 08/17: work on roof completed; toilet installed (but not yet working). 05/19: work in progress on the luggage compartment doors (see main photo); work on compartment seating underway (see third additional photo below), with the side corridors also in place; restroom in First Class section now in place, with a pull-down sink and a hand-crafted toilet made from a photograph. 08/20: plan is to mount body on underframe of BR 94817 (qv).
