Outer compartments 1st Class, inner compartments 2nd Class with a central luggage compartment. 2nd Class downgraded to 3rd Class in 1893. Not remumbered by LNER. W 10/28. With GER 203 (qv) sold to Mr Walker in 1929 and placed in position together as a single dwelling (see second photograph below). Purchased by Holmes family (fair people) in 1935, passed down to Fletcher family ca. 1982. 06/23: confirmed both bodies still in situ and in use as a home. |
