Present Location Tanat Valley
County Location Shropshire
Designed For Cambrian
Type FY
Present Number None
Gauge 4ft 8 1/2in
Wheel Arrangement Body only
Original Underframe Yes
Original Bogies/Wheelsets No
Additional Notes Body on underframe - no running gear. Recovered from farm use. Regrettably a door opening on each side has been enlarged. Thought may date from the 1860s or 1870s. Was in use as a merchant's store in Welshpool Station yard in the 1950's and 1960's. It then went to a farm at Little Vron, Cilcewydd near Welshpool. Notice on door states donated from Little Vron and that it probably was a three compartment 6(?) wheel coach. Has seen over 100 years of non-railway use but survives relatively complete.
