Additional Notes P 07/65 ex Ordsall Lane Manchester privately for use as support vehicle and workshop by the Princess Elizabeth Locomotive Society. Suffered damage to roof and to one compartment when crane collapsed on to it following a fire at Messrs Dowty's factory. Then at Ashchurch till 1977, then to Hereford. Sold to NRM in October 1977; at Carnforth by 1990; seen there 05/00 but to NRM by 08/00. Restoration (including roof and interior) well in hand by 04/10. Repainted in maroon Coronation Scot livery for NRM "LMS" weekend 24-25/09/11 - mis-numbered 5897 over this weekend but very soon corrected. By 11/13 80% restored, with one compartment to trim and the lavatory to reassemble. Due to return to LMS Period II livery.
