Additional Notes | Carries two builder's plates on solebar - one side "built 1947", the other "built 1948". With other evidence now considered built 1947. P ? by SRPS, at Falkirk until 1988. 'Under restoration/fair'. By 08/13 all steelwork stripped from one side, some frame repairs undertaken. By 08/16: full body rebuild finished to a very high standard; it awaits the arrival of new gangway bellows. 08/17: work ongoing to complete the interior, including repairs to interior damage caused during heritage insulation removal. By 11/18: further work in progress on the interior; seating now being re-installed (see final additional photo below). 12/19: interior now completed to a very good standard; just corridor connections to refit to complete the restoration.
