Condemned 06/1952 but converted to BR North Eastern Region Engineer's mess van DE320179. Withdrawn 03/1971; sold for preservation from Hull Priory Sidings 06/1971. Stored privately. 1974 to Quainton, 1983 to GCR Coach Group, Chipping Warden, nr Banbury. Sold at Auction 07/1997 £350 to Mangapps. No seating, but compartment mirrors present. By 2013 to 'Brockford Sidings' where converted to holiday accommodation.
