Additional Notes 7 compartments + luggage compartment. Three centre compartments were first class but downgraded to third in 1929. To NCB 11/1949. P 1968, stored Consett Ironworks until Dec 1973 when to Beamish. To Tanfield Railway 15/03/1994 to avoid scrapping. Tanfield ref 0093. Now disc wheels restoration is planned. Some references suggest this vehicle might actually be NER 818 (qv) but in unrestored condition (see also NER 3071 qv) but at 09/2019 this is believed to be the original 1149
